Job Description:

We are searching for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role will provide support for the Developers, Big Data, QA and Product teams and will focus heavily on automation, monitoring and scaling the infrastructure.

Develop and document best practices for disaster recovery and application deployment Perform penetration testing to ensure security of our infrastructure Research and develop new technologies for improving existing systems Build, maintain and improve CI/CD systems Participate in on-call rotation What youve accomplished
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or 6-10 years related experience Solid experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration
Experience with Bash, Apache, Nginx, Nagios, Icinga, HAProxy, MySQL, Redis
Experience mentoring team members Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously with minimal supervision
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) Database administration experience
Familiar with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) Experience with Git Bonus points if you have experience with the following: AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, CLI, Elasti Cache, Red shift, Elastic Map Reduce, Route 53, Cloud Formation) Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, C, PHP, JavaScript Gray log or ELK (Elastic search, Log stash, Kibana) Core OS (etcd, rkt, fleet, flannel) Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes Fabric, Capistrano, Jenkins VPN tunneling How to get started: If youre excited by the idea of seeing yourself in this role at Head space, please apply with your CV and a cover letter that best expresses your interest and unique qualifications.
