Job Description:
Role:HR Information Systems Specialist Location:Minneapolis, MN ESSENTIAL DUTIES
50% - Interfaces Monitor daily interfaces between many different systems, such as Workday/Oracle and Oracle/ADP, ADP to HSWE, Oracle to Autotime, ADP to benefit vendors, ADP to Computer share, Oracle to Computer share.
Trouble shoot errors/discrepancies and make corrections as necessary.
20% - Responsible for routine administration of benefits and occupational health-related HRIS systems, such as ADP HWSE, ADP Total Rewards, and ADP EV5.
This includes, but is not limited to, system setup for plans and structures, routine maintenance (some data entry and auditing for compliance related activities), basic reporting, training other team members, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Collaborates with other functional areas and external vendors to identify process improvements, systems enhancements and issue resolutions.10% - Serves as the technical point of contact for talent acquisition/recruiting related HRIS systems, such as Taleo Recruiting and Taleo On boarding.
Supports the subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of basic system changes, assists in the development of interfaces to other HRIS systems, routine report writing and analyzing basic data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Supports the global rollout of Taleo Recruiting and On boarding and assists in resolving issues with the system.
10% - Monitors the HRIS Support Desk and ensures tickets are routed, customers are promptly responded to and issues resolved in a timely manner.
Collaborates with team members outside of HRIS to ensure quick resolution of issues.
Escalates issues as appropriate. Ensures all support requests are logged.
Documents frequently asked questions and other helpful articles in the HRIS Knowledge Center.
5% - Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools such as Cognos 10, ADP Report Writer, Impromptu, MS Access, Taleo Insight, and other similar reporting tools.
Assists in development and scheduling of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
5% - Assists with regulatory, internal audits and other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education/Certifications:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent education and experience)HRIP (Human Resources Information Professional), PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) preferred.
Experience:
Zero to 2 years of experience in HRIS technology supporting HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, UltiPro, Lawson, etc.; with up to 2 years of experience of ADP Enterprise (EV5) and/or ADP Health and Welfare Service Engine.
Familiarity with talent acquisition/recruiting and on boarding applications, specifically Taleo, preferred.
Zero to 2 years of experience in benefit administration.
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of business processes and project management Demonstrates a basic knowledge of various Human Resources processes, particularly in the areas of benefits, payroll, talent acquisition/recruiting, performance management and compliance.
Demonstrates aptitude for report development and layout (prefer familiarity with ADP Report Writer, Cognos 10, Impromptu or other similar report writing software packages)
Basic analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to see a project through to from beginning to end; deliver complete and accurate routine documentation to support the project; assists in communicating project milestones and scope changes as they arise
Good computing skills in a PC environment (MS Project, Visio, Access, Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Ability to learn new software and technologyGood verbal, written, and presentation skillsSeeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from othersIdentifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
