Job Description:

Python Principal Engineer/Architect (Performance Automation)
Loc: Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities

Help architect, develop, and implement a Python 3 automated test harness from the ground up which will facilitate scenario-based and system-level testing, including performance characterization.
Develop analytics to help make the stress testing mentioned above actionable.
Build the tools that QA testers and developers will use to automate both white-box and black-box data flow tests.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated test suites into a continuous integration environment such as Jenkins.
Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application, and network.

Qualifications

Deep Python 3.x knowledge and extensive experience building core test harness functionality with it.
10+ years overall software engineering experience.
A Commitment to Quality Engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including written documentation.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Practical Experience with application and RDBMS performance testing.
Experience with Cloud and Virtual deployments.
Experience working across different environments (PHP, SQL).
Experience working in an agile/scrum work environment.
