Participate in the development of business and functional requirements for reports.Administer Business Intelligence (Micro Strategy) and SSRS report security and deployment.
Design, develop, test and implement reports as necessary to fulfill business requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization and assist users with reporting and analysis activities and tools, including ad-hoc reporting.Support user training, testing, documentation, and the roll-out of reports and end-user reporting tools.
Maintain effective working relationships with the DW Team, other Information Services teams and the other business departments within Cal Optima.
Maintain knowledge of business processes and application design, and understand cross-functional business relationships and their use of information.

Required Experience Experience & Education:
3 -5 years general relational database and reporting development experience.
3+ years experience with BI (Micro Strategy preferred)/data warehousing reporting analysis, design, testing and administration.
3+ years experience developing Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, SSRS and using reporting tools such as Micro Strategy (preferred), Business Objects, and/or Cognos for developing reports.
2+ years experience in developing reports in a HealthCare related business, preferably a health plan.
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Experience using modeling techniques as a tool for application design and development.
Knowledge of: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server development including database design and stored procedures.
Advanced knowledge of BI (MicroStrategy preferred) / (tools and/or Microsoft Reporting Services including report design and development.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OLAP tools and analysis constructs.Server software operation, maintenance and extension (using various programming tools) and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to multiple server platforms.
Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Methodology.
