Job Description:
Role:Business Analyst- Manufacturing Location:Ochlocknee, GA Qualifications / Requirements:
The candidate will have at least 7-12 years of experience in the following:Experience with JD Edwards, Infor M3, or equivalent ERP solution used in CPG or similar manufacturing industries.
Specific experience with the manufacturing operations and scheduling functions is required.
This includes strong working experience with bills of materials, routings and other related structures used to manage plant functions.
Demonstrated ability to own and manage the entire life cycle of a project including planning, budget estimating, identifying alternatives, selecting and implementing.
Experienced in conducting interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases or other methods.
Demonstrated ability to establish/communicate project scope and define impact, outcome criteria and metrics to track success.
Demonstrated aptitude for studying current practices and then applying current and new technologies to improve business processes.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand the organizations core business processes.
Working technical knowledge of data analytical tools.
An example would be SQL and Management Studio.
Working knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel (including pivot tables and ODBC linking) and MS Visio and MS Power Point.
Experience with MS Project and MS Visio is preferred.
Required BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on operational efficiencies of the systems currently deployed to ensure they are either sustained at defined levels or identify where levels can be elevated.
Act as liaison between the manufacturing operations leadership team and IT.
Self-identify or meet with users to identify opportunities where technology can be utilized to optimize business processes while maintaining standardization across the enterprise.
Create methods to identify data patterns and trends that assess the systems deployed and predict potential dilemmas or future opportunities.
Prepare and present business proposals that offer alternatives and recommend (sell) the most viable option.
Act as project lead, owning the technical steps required to implement and mentoring the actions of members of the user audience as related to successful implementation.
Create process documentation and provide training to users of the implemented processes.
Based out of the Georgia facility, the individual will travel 25-40% of the time to support other facilities within the organization.Provide guidance to junior staff members.
