- Provides day-to-day HRIS support.
- Tests and implements planned system enhancements.
- Provides system and security administration, end user technical support and problem solving, process flow documentation and process change requests.
- Completes alterations to existing configuration/reports to gather and report data.
- Trouble-shoots moderately complex customer and system issues including error messages, login difficulties, access denials, data issues and process failures in Workday .
- Develops updates and modifies security tables to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Provides progress reports to inform management of project status.
- Maintains and updates processes for transfer data between Workday and other applications.
- Research, analyzes and maintains compensation information systems in support of human resource administration and projects; assists in auditing system to insure integrity of compensation related data; serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming and related problems.
- Assists in determining organizational needs for HRIS implementation or upgrades by consulting with stakeholders.
- Provides assistance on the application of various HR systems, including applicant tracking (Taleo).
- Sets up and modifies tables as requested.Reviews, researches and recommends and implements updates and fixes for the HRIS System.
- Develops and modifies reports for management.Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
- Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to HRIS processes, procedures and services.
- Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- Provide support the Global locations in all operational areas of compensation including, but not limited to system administration and testing, market data, job leveling, FLSA, reporting and reconciliation etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Additional college level information technology or business-related courses are beneficial.
- This position requires a minimum of three years of HRIS and Compensation experience.
- Previous experience with HR systems required; Workday preferred.Previous experience administering and supporting Affordable Care Act (ACA) is preferred.
- Understanding of software development life cycle is needed.
- Advanced level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is necessary.
- The ability to create custom reports with Workday reporting tools is required.
- Proven analytical skills are necessary.
- This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical language both verbally and in writing is essential.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
- Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are necessary.
- In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
