Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • The daily responsibilities of the Web Applications Developer include the following
  • Providing production support Being part of on-call rotation Application Installation and Configuration Debugging, troubleshooting & root cause analysis of production issues
  • Coordination of performance and stability fixes with Development Team Change management & Deployment of Application Updates
  • Performance and availability monitoring Maintenance of associated standards & procedure documentation
Qualifications:

  • More than 4 years of JBoss Application Administration Experience.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills Experience working with clustered applications Good working experience with MS SQL database platforms
  • Strong experience in application security Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Java development and ability to understand Java stack traces
  • Ability to read and understand application log files Experience with Windows Server administration
  • Solid self-motivated team player Thorough understanding of Nagios and JVM monitoring systems Scripting and Automation skills Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Red Hat Certified JBoss Administration a plus MCSE certification is a plus
  • Qualified applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening.
