Role: SIEBEL CRMSenior Software Developer
Location:La Jolla, CA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Performs an advanced level of software development activities, which includes the design, development, requirements development, testing, and deployment in a Siebel CRM environment.
Customizes Siebel applications to meet business requirements.
Works closely with the team Product Manager, Architects, and Business Analysts to deliver an application to the customer that provides significant value.
Consults with CMS project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
Researches, designs, develops, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of software products based on client requirements.
Applies security controls for CMS information security requirements for software implementation.
Codes, tests and debugs new software applications, or complex enhancements to existing software.
Administers Siebel on Amazon Machine Instances.Applies Siebel and Windows patches, when necessary.
Helps troubleshoot customer support issues and production problems related to existing software applications, when required.
Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
Provides technical documentation that describes software functions, maintenance requirements, and maintenance techniques.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisors instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources.
Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study with a minimum of eight (8) years relevant software development experience customizing
Siebel and/or other CRM Enterprise Applications; or equivalent combination of education / experience.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment required.
Experience developing software in a Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) environment preferred.
Expert knowledge of proven business and operations practices and strategies
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Oracle Siebel CRM, including escript for client / server side scripting
Knowledge and understanding of Agile software, Amazon Web Services, jQuery and JavaScript with Siebel Open UI
Ability to administer / upgrade Siebel Application Servers and WebserversExceptional computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Linux
Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
