Qualifications

• Ability to design, code, test, and debug mainframe application systems including integration with other applications using various
• Interface technologies.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
• 4 or more years of applications development experience using structured methods
• 3-4 years of experience in individual insurance, individual life or annuities product knowledge
• Experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL LE, DB2, CICS, VSAM, SPUFI, JCL, SQL
• Proficient with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, Access, Visio
• Experience with life insurance industry policy administration application software such as CyberLife or Vantage preferred
• Experience with WinTel technologies and/or ACORD XML transactions desired (Visual Basic, C+, XML, Websphere, JAVA)
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
