Summary:

• Assist consolidating Rust- Oleum's world-wide financial information (including statistics) and accurately report financial results (monthly/quarterly/annual) to Rust- Oleum's Management and Rust- Oleum's parent company.
  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in collection, loading via FDMEE, reconciling and consolidation of monthly financial extracts into Hyperion Financial Management, including reconciling same information between Rust-Oleum and parent company by due date.
  
• Analyze and coordinate clearing of inter company transactions between Rust-Oleum and RPM sister companies by due date. Also maintain and reconcile inter company SAP tables.
  
• Develop and document financial reporting processes.
  
• Reconcile and review US GAAP account balances.
  
• Maintain SAP cost center hierarchies & new SAP accounts, routing to appropriate individuals for approval.
  
• Own month-end financial reporting: cost centers, P&L\'s, balance sheets, cash flows.
  
• Perform month-end audit of files and sign-offs for completeness prior to submission to parent company.
  
• Participate in cross-functional teams designed to provide improvements to current reporting processes.
  

Required Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• 5-8 years of accounting experience.
  
• Understanding of Financial Consolidations, Inter company transactions, foreign currencies.
  
• Basic understand of US GAAP adjustments.
  
• Understanding of balance sheets, cost centers & cash flows.
  
• Willingness to research and be flexible.
  
• Ability to work in fast paced environment, hitting deadlines and not missing critical processes.
  
• Not afraid to ask questions, challenge processes and drive efficiencies.
  
• Detail oriented and process driven; able to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined individual with strong analytical, and organizational skills.
  
• Flexible....Rust-Oleum is a world-wide organization, so position may require coordination with international associates after hours or on weekends.
  
• HFM/Smart View (adhoc and formulas) / FDMEE.
  
• Advanced Excel skills.
  
• SAP.
