We are seeking an intelligent and dynamic Unix/Linux system administrator to work in our Tampa office.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and a bachelor\'s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a similar technical or analytic field, from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities
Manage and configure new and existing systems (both physical and virtual) primarily running RedHat Enterprise or a derivative.
Manage and maintain a large VM ware environment
Assist in the continuous development and improvement of infrastructure that facilitates automated management.
Experience with configuration management software Puppet desired.
Perform routine and exceptional operations such as data restores and backup validation.
Work with our customer support staff when client support tasks require advanced systems knowledge or changes.
Work on network and security related tasks as needed.
Rotating on-call responsibilities; this job will require that you carry your phone with you and be available if thereâ??s an off-hour problem that requires your intervention.
What We??re Looking For
BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
Linux/Unix skills; you should possess a very confident level of knowledge of most topics related to Linux and have both references and paid experience to support this.
Analytic skills; it is required that you be able to think critically, adapt to unique situations quickly, and devise solutions to problems, both independently and as part of a team.
TCP/IP - you should know TCP/IP v4 reasonably well and be interested in learning IPv6, which we use in production.
Security - you should know the â??doâ??sâ? and â??donâ??tsâ? of security with regards to good system administration practices.
Script programming skills; you should be comfortable with programming scripts to automate system administration tasks; you should know PERL, PHP, Python, and/or one of the major shellâ??s scripting language.
Experience with VMWare a plus

Preferably, you??ve worked in a highly virtualized environment and understand how to align load demands with hardware resources.
