Job description

• We are redesigning a previously designed Access database in MS SQL server and wish to develop a sustainable SQL Server database that is flexible, robust and able to grow with our needs.
• We seek at least 10 years of experience planning, developing, and implementing complex SQL Server database projects and can engage asap.
• The new build needs to be optimized to be efficient, sustainable, and modular to deliver faster queries, lower maintenance costs, and the ability to evolve our ambitions evolve.
• We wish to interview potential candidates who would work on our project before engaging.
  
• A good understanding of Access db is a desirable to understand the transition process but deep understanding of MS SQL server is a must.
• The candidate would need to be able to begin with a plan that includes the following before deeply

• Assess SQL and Access Database Structures and Performance
  
• Data Normalization
  
• Index Optimization
  
• Naming conventions/standards
  
• Analyze Data Import, Update and Output Process
  
• Review ETL process and Stored Procedures.
  
• Scrutinize the database design and against ETL process and Stored Procedures
