Job Details

We are currently looking for ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL RISK ANALYST to work in our Holland, MI facility.

The Role

• The Associate Financial Risk Analyst will support Haworths worldwide risk management through effective programs and processes and work with insurance carriers and outside suppliers to track claims, exposures, payments and policies.
  
• This role will also support the Credit Administration group by crossing training and assisting where needed.
  
• More Specifically The Associate Financial Risk Analyst May
  
• Generate reports and analyze data.
  
• Calculate worldwide risk exposures.
  
• Produce and analyze annual risk cost budget.
  
• Develop monthly recurring journal entries.
  
• Compile and analyze information to complete annual insurance audits.
  
• Produce, record, and implement procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  
• Support sales team in securing bids.
  
• Develop Risk Management audit schedules required by outside auditors.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
  
• One year insurance and/or credit analysis experience.
  

Other Requirements

• Experience in data analysis.
  
• Experience utilizing excel to create complex reports.
  
• Must be flexible and willing to handle change.
  
• Must take initiative to learn new tasks and assist the team where needed.
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
  
• Strong ability to find the root cause and determine the best method to solve the problem.
  
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
