The implementation and supervision of internal controls is the responsibility of every manager within his/her scope of authority.
Develops long-range strategic plans, oversee the design, development & maintenance of all infrastructure software and systems to meet the business requirements
Develops and implement a multi-year global technology strategy to support critical business initiatives and activities
Develops strategies for scaling and supporting the technical infrastructure in the areas of data centers, operational control centers, end user computing, collaboration services, network, telecom and security services
Develops sourcing strategies commensurate with the financial, technology, regulatory and resource requirements of the business
Manages the outsourcing of key services by partnering with specific service providers
Manages operations and support organizations to provide 7x24 mission critical technology services
Budgets, plans and controls operating costs, capital project costs and all technical corporate spend
Provides strong technical leadership in the architecting and delivery of core infrastructure services including enterprise computing services (physical and virtual), multi-tier storage and performance analysis in support of rigorous failover and disaster recovery plans
Provides the day-to-day management and support necessary to ensure the reliability, integrity, security and recoverability of all systems, including voice, data and video infrastructure
Develops, implements and maintains a viable, sustainable and fully validated backup and disaster recovery system for core corporate components
Recognizes and tracks ROI and value added of key projects
Ensures compliance and adequacy/integrity of IT Security and Controls for audit purposes
Recommends, manages and helps to enforce Corporate IT Policies
Provides and implements recommendations for upgrade, replacement, virtualization and/or expansion of existing computer systems and storage systems.
Responsible for overseeing the successful deployment of desktop and computer system patches, monitoring system diagnostics & health checks including performance monitoring, sizing, tuning and preventative maintenance as required.
All other job related duties as assigned by the CFO and/or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
Bachelora??s degree in Information Technologies, Business or other suitable major; and an advanced degree is desirable but not required.
At least fifteen (15) yearsâ?? experience as an information technology leader and 7 yearsâ?? senior management experience.
Data Systems experience â?? PI, MS SQL, BI/BW; able to bring information together from multiple sources and make it easily accessible to widespread end-users.
Able to demonstrate proof of effective IT leadership in a high-growth environment.
Proven experience in the implementation, development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP.
Experience in an organization with multiple global locations and a complex server-based, global WAN environment.
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with executives as well as staff members.
Provides clear and concise information to management on departmental objectives and progress; as well as being able to a??sell a? ideas and recommendations with confidence and credibility.
Able to mentor/develop, motivate and drive a cohesive IT Management team.
Able to support multiple sites, both development (office type) and construction project sites.
Able to demonstrate that he/she has faced, and successfully solved, IT problems and issues involving both strategic and implementation issues of considerable size and complexity.
