POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists in establishing strong business and financial processes and governance for effective cost management.
Participates in the design, implementation and tracking of multi-dimensional financial reporting process changes and related metrics to drive standardization and consistency.
Assists in the analysis of financial results to feed into business decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Participates in the preparation of financial information for the development of budget, forecasts, scorecards and action plans.
Organizes and prepares data for basic financial analyses and reports to meet required deadlines.
Understands key financial reporting structures, account structures and audit controls.
Participates in various aspects of implementation and/or modification and monitoring of new reporting and accounting systems, enhancements, procedures, account structures, audit controls, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in an accredited masters program focusing on accounting, finance or a related discipline (current sophomore or junior)
0-2 years experience in accounting/finance with exposure to financial planning and analysis.
