The Data Warehouse Specialist is a exempt position and is primarily responsible for:
Regular and consistent attendance.
Designs, implements and supports data warehousing and related technologies
Use of multidimensional expression (MDX) functions to build calculated cells, named sets and calculated members
Create allocation expressions that use various member functions, tuples, set functions, aggregation functions, and conditional expressions.
Design and implement cube and dimension level security
Implement business rules via T-SQL, middleware, and other technologies
Verify accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse
Use and support of various Enterprise Data Mining tools
Defines user interfaces and functional specifications
Installing & Administering Business Intelligence Tools to deliver complex reports based on OLAP cubes and other sources
Acceptance Test Planning & Execution of multidimensional data marts
Understand OLAP server architecture (Analysis Services)
Management of enterprise-wide data resources at the conceptual, logical and physical level
Ability to facilitate training and to teach end users to use tools and data
Knowledge of MS SQL server, query, reporting and OLAP tools
Ability to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions
Ability to develop business-oriented metadata definitions
Ability to prioritize end-user requirements
Design technical architectures
Strong relational, dimensional data modeling and database design skills
Maintain detailed documentation on all processes
Assist the organization in understanding and realizing the value in business intelligence solutions
Use Microsoft SharePoint to deliver reports, documents, dashboards and more other duties as assigned

Requirements
Bachelor??s Degree or equivalent IT systems experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in designing, implementing, and building business intelligence/data warehouse systems in a MS SQL Server environment.
Must have experience working with MS SQL Server and MSSQL Analysis Services.
Experience in designing and building the database portion of the solution, and knowledge of OLAP and relational databases
Must be organized and capable of providing leadership in a structured environment while requiring minimal day-to-day guidance
Strong relational, dimensional data modeling and database design skills
Ability to prioritize end-user requirements
Ability to develop business-oriented metadata definitions
Ability to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions
Knowledge of query reporting
Experience in Data Warehouse architectures, life cycle and deployments
Knowledge of dimension types, member properties, custom members and custom rollup
Understand OLAP server architecture (Analysis Services)
Knowledge of object oriented programming language (C#/VB.NET) is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Experience with Power BI is a plus)
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSL, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with Zap BI and Cube Xpress is a plus
Familiarity with Azure Data Warehousing components
Experience with advanced report creation using MS Reporting Services
Understanding source and target data structures, ETL processes and products
Strong Interpersonal and communications skills to effectively communicate and coordinate activities with other IT groups and users
