Our client, located in Winter Park, FL, is looking to hire a Software
Developer (ASP.NET, C#).
Project duration: 8+ months
Description:
Summary: This position designs and codes software modules, supports the Project Leader and Development Manager on projects, works with clients on advanced development support issues and provides development expertise and mentoring to project team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, code and test program code for specific functionality including involvement in the development of requirements and functional specifications-70%
- Manage advanced client support issues escalated to development including coding changes, improved documentation of procedures, database clean-up and scheduling tasks for future release-15%
- Ensure that code and other deliverables adhere to product and company standards including improvement alternatives to increase productivity and product quality-10%
- Perform other duties as assigned-5%• Writes new software, makes modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications.• Develops and integrates applications as per written specifications.• Carries out unit testing, ensuring application meets needs of client and business.• Translates technical requirements and design documentation into application code
and modules.• Works under direct supervision in performing maintenance on existing software products or straightforward software enhancements.• Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software
enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer.• Develops software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to industry standards and software best practice guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
- 5 + years experience
- Programming in ASP.net, C#.net, SQL Server, depending on product line
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- May require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting
priorities
- Must be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and
political environments
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by the
supervisor's discretion
