Important responsibilities include:

• On and off-site optimization
  
• Analysis, reporting, and measuring progress against goals
  
• Recommendations for new and existing content
  
• Technical optimization recommendations and oversee implementation of various SEO-related deliverables
  
• Keyword, competitor, and market research
  

SEO audits

• Conversion rate optimization & testing
  
• Identification and resolution of SEO issues
  
• POVs on industry updates and assistance with SEO education initiatives
  
• Collaboration with other teams and departments on projects
  

Qualifications

• Experience with writing, programming or social media management is a plus but not required.
  
• Experience with SEO for publishers or sites with a lot of content/pages is a big plus.
  
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  
• Experience with various SEO and non-SEO tools such as GA, GSC, Brightedge, Ahrefs, Moz, Excel, etc.
  
• Ability to work well in teams and independently to meet goals and deadlines
  
• Experience creating and executing content strategies
  
• Ability to research and simplify complex SEO problems
  
• Can show or discuss case studies of successful SEO tactics/strategies
  
• Excellent written and verbal skills
  
• Up to date on and comfortable speaking about SEO and SEO trends
  
• 4+ years SEO experience
