Job Description:

  • The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the development, installation, and administration of compensation programs. Evaluates salaried, hourly, middle and top management positions.
  • Assists in the administration of performance appraisal and salary administration programs, reviewing changes in wages and salaries for conformance to policy.
  • Audits evaluation of positions and application of existing classifications to individuals.
  • Conducts and participates in compensation surveys conducted by other companies.
  • Assists in updating the salary structure.

Detailed Description

  • Collaborates with the Global Total Rewards Manager/consultants on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs
  • Administers U.S. base pay and bonus programs, including annual review cycle
  • Manages projects such as survey participation and analysis and compensation integration
  • Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with HR Managers to educate Managers
  • Works with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that SAP meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary, bonus programs, etc.
  • Communicates salary and bonus programs
  • Assists HR Managers and other managers with compensation-related issues

  • Participates in regular project team meetings
  • Works closely with project team members to participate in projects and assist in resolving problems
  • Meet with, discuss, resolve employee questions and issues

Education

Bachelor\'s Degree (+16 years)

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree required, in Human Resources or related fields. PHR or other related certification preferred.
  • 8 plus years of experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs.

  • A high degree of computer literacy and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with and establish rapport with all levels of management and employees
  • Strong practical knowledge of employee compensation programs and related regulatory statutes in order to maintain compliance
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee information
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
