Partner with the investment team to understand requirements and work to create consumable data content
Develop processes and tools around datasets to enable the team to make better investment decisions
Consolidate, validate and manage investment-related data from both internal and external sources
Function as the team resource and SME as it relates to quantitative credit analysis
Monitor and evaluate portfolio risk in a manner consistent with the teams philosophy
Support trading efforts as needed in assisting with the management of trade relationships, trade execution and liquidity oversight
Develop an in-depth understanding of the teamâ??s investment process
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
A minimum of 3 yearsâ?? work experience in quantitative modeling or data analysis
A degree in financial engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar quantitative field
Proficiency with complex Excel usage; modeling experience strongly preferred
Quantitative and technical skills with the ability to manage large data sets
Comfort with using and extracting data from Bloomberg
A high level of initiative and intellectual curiosity with an ability to grasp new concepts
Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work in a small, collaborative environment
Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver in a timely fashion
