Responsibilities:
Leads user-centered design, visual design, usability engineering/testing.
Design modern/digital interactive experiences, and complex web-based transactional/operational support front end (thousands of screens/fields with complex business rules) into highly intuitive and simple user experiences (creating personas, journey maps, card sorting, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, focus groups, to MVP)
Combines design expertise with deep expertise in all aspects of front-end technology and UX product development expertise from initial concepts/prototypes to fully developed/scaled web and mobile platforms (responsive design, HTML5/CSS3, MVC JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), performance optimization, and best practices for cross-browser compatibility)
Coordinating/providing support to a distributed UX Design team from a UX architecture/framework perspective, as the point-of-contact for alignment of the Ul framework, user centered design process, digital artifacts and templates
Develop, coordinate and manage front-end design and assets systems and frameworks of standard U1 components, ensuring a process around ease of reuse/extension/style modification across a highly distributed team
Support the collection of usage statistics, UI error logging, and feedback mechanisms
Delivery of the new UI/UX artifacts and assets based on the direction
Managing the UI/UX resources, vendors and coordinate delivery of the UI assets to the development team.
Interaction with the developers to ensure the UI/UX best practice is followed as per expectations.
Qualifications:
Passion for user-centered design, visual design, usability engineering/testing, as well as full stack front end development.
10+ years experience designing modern/digital interactive experiences, and complex web-based transactional/operational support front end (thousands of screens/fields with complex business rules) into highly intuitive and simple user experiences (creating personas, journey maps, card sorting, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, focus groups, to MVP)
Combines design expertise with deep expertise in all aspects of front-end technology and UX product development expertise from initial concepts/prototypes to fully developed/scaled web and mobile platforms (responsive design, HTML5/CSS3, MVC JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular2/4), performance optimization, and best practices for cross-browser compatibility)
Experience coordinating/providing support to a distributed UX Design team from a UX architecture/framework perspective, as the point-of-contact for alignment of the UI framework, user centered design process, digital artifacts and templates
Experience developing, coordinating, managing front-end design and assets systems and frameworks of standard UI components, ensuring a process around ease of reuse/extension/style modification across a highly distributed team
Experience with automation of UI guidelines, requirements, performance testing and catching of any divergence
Experience with enabling support for collection of usage statistics, UI error logging, and feedback mechanisms
5+ years experience as a UX lead leveraging the Agile methodology/process around user interface/UX development (role of UX in scrum/sprints, from user stories to design track, design and dev tracks integration, dev/mgmt. of UI components library,...)
Will need to see strong creative portfolio of work that demonstrates related problem solving skills and advanced knowledge and skill in both the UX and modern front end technology stack and frameworks
