Role:Finance Systems Analyst Location:Reno, NV RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Provide day-to-day support for ERP System, Ellipse and Mine Market Audit Project Lead for all IT audits internal and external to ensure all controls are in place and audit evidence is applicable Create new Ellipse system reports using WIN SQL or SQL Developer Write ad-hoc SQL queries to support user requests for Ellipse and Mine Market Identify, recommend and implement solutions to meet business needs and align with business strategies for the Finance Department. Project management, planning and oversight for Ellipse and other Finance Systems. Manage and build partnerships with vendors for Departmental specific items. Conduct Finance Systems security policy reviews to ensure compliance with client IT policies, business expectations and current best practices and report findings to the IT Manager. Assist with the development and execution of Finance Systems policies. Serve as the regional Finance Systems Analyst for Central/South America and assist in aligning corporate and regional strategies. Assist with the development of strategic Finance Systems plans. Assist with the development of corporate and regional Finance Systems budgets. Assist IT Director as required in US and Central/South America. Backup for others team members in IT group. REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Computer Systems Analyst degree or equivalent. 4+ years in related experience. Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and trouble shoot complex issues. Solid understanding of enterprise level systems and networks including all current LAN/WAN technologies. Strong understanding of IT best practices and regulatory compliance, SOX. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to work extended hours. Ability to develop realistic action plans. Solid understanding of ABB Ellipse and Mine Market software and usage. Understanding of reporting tools i.e., Jasper, Crystal report. Microsoft Active directory, Linux or Cisco networking experience a plus
