  • Your initial job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Management of the production process to include:Coordinate and manage internal kick-off, milestone and closeout meetingsMeeting with clients to outline clients development objectives and initial project scope.
  • Resource planning and managementCoordinate permitting approval process.
  • Supervise project closeout towards procurement of the building permit.
  • Site Investigations & Due Diligence, including the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
  • Preparation of concept drawings based upon clients development objectives and conclusions of due diligencePreparation of construction cost estimates.
  • Project coordination to include consulting with client, attorney, project team and company affiliates for the purpose of preparing comprehensive site plan applications.
  • Preparation of written correspondence with outside agencies, clients, attorneys, contractors, and othersStaff development and mentoringBusiness development which involves attendance at marketing functions, business dinners/events, and cross marketing with other company offices.
  • Proposal preparationCollection of A/Rs, efficiency evaluations, profit evaluations and financial management of your projectsOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications:BS in Civil Engineering and must be a PEExperience in civil/site design
  • including:concept site layoutsubdivision designzoning research and analysisextensive knowledge of site gradingstorm water management designutility designregulatory permitting.
  • experienceproject management capabilitiesgood delegation skill10+ years of experience (10+ years of experience in civil site design and project management with 2+ years in a staff management capacity)
  • Experience with making public presentations and client managementProposal preparation, budget tracking and forecasting workloads and staff development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time
