AEM Architect
Job Summary:
The AEM Architect provides technical leadership throughout the life-cycle of a project, with specific focus on CMS Solutions. This role is responsible for guiding the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects and interfacing with client technology and management teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
Actively work with the account team to establish strategy for the account
Implement AEM architecture, visualization and development processesCoordinate globally dispersed development, QA, deployment and reuseMaintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trendsUtilize deep understanding of CMS solutions to make appropriate decisionsTranslate the client’s business requirements into systems designEstablish high,mid and micro level plans, and estimates for project teamsIdentify and manage risk on project.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, custom and package implementation, and architecture experience
Experience providing a vision to the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common visionFull Life Cycle ExperienceChicago local preferred. Frequent travel to Chicago is required.

Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage teams, during multiple phases of the project life-cycle
Strong skills to effectively interface with client executives and multi-task Sapient teamsDemonstrated consulting skills, including client relationships and team facilitationWell-developed organizational and interpersonal communications skillsGeneral understanding of the business environment, models and motivationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentationGood business analysis/redesign skills with architecture and implementation experienceRequirements analysis, conceptual, logical and detailed design skillsConfiguration planning, testing, change management and support experienceProject management with complex projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPrior experience in a consulting firm preferred.
Technical Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years experience architecting on Adobe AEM 6.X including AEM Sites, AEM DAM
Experience with development of Compoments, Templates, Custom Workflows, back-end integrations using Sling and OSGi frameworks6 years in application architecture/enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, package implementationExperience integrating search technology (Autonomy, Endeca, FAST, etc.) with content managementExperience in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise level applicationsExpertise in multiple technology platforms/languages such as Java, J2EE, C#, .NET, etc
