Job Summary

The company has an immediate opening for a Senior Data Scientist of Customer Insight reporting to the Director of Advanced Analytics.  This position supports the advanced analytics team in providing insight into customer behavior to enable decision making relating to promotions, events and marketing programs for all brands both in stores and online.

Job Duties

• Support advanced analytic team in exploiting data in an effort to promote growth and business development via deep data mining analysis in a hadoop environment


• Develop and/or implement various types of predictive models, segmentation strategies, optimization algorithm’s, and data mining analyses with a targeted result of increasing revenue


• Conduct multi-channel analytics for online and integrated online/offline contexts


• Summarize and present analyses to Marketers, Merchants, Vendors, and Executives

• Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools and analytical methodologies to drive improved decisions

Job Requirements

• Experience in applying advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to customer/consumer behavior analysis


• Experience in integrating machine learning algorithms, software engineering design, and statistical models to perform full lifecycle of analytics automation process.


• Lead end to end spectrum of analytics solution including ideation, hypothesis testing, data exploration, rapid prototyping & modeling, experimental design, and production automation. 


• In-depth ML algorithms development experience using using R, MATLAB, Python, Java, C++


• Ability to manage multiple projects and on-demand analytical requests simultaneously
