Ariba Solution Architect Lake County, IL Contract! Description: Ariba Solution Architect - Responsible for designing engineering and coordinating execution where required to support aspects of client on-demand Ariba platform to enable successful implementation of modules, value-add enhancements to modules or carrying out PoC\'s to extend the capabilities of the current configuration of the platform. This requires alignment across the enterprise with peer functions that engage in design and delivery of solutions with suppliers and operational procurement activities. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization\'s business requirements and meet the needs of end users. Defines systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Defines technical standards and functionality tests. May develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides. Typically requires a bachelor\'s degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field\'s concepts, practices, and procedures. Ariba On-Demand experience required preferably with experience in Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, P2P and/or Spend Viz implementation and ongoing support. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management.\'
