Overview
A department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at a renowned School of Medicine is seeking a full-time specialist in general academic obstetrics and gynecology to support expanding clinical services and a newer residency program. Applicants at all levels of experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and collaborating with other faculty in clinical research and academic projects.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board certification or eligibility, and qualifications to obtain a Michigan Medical License. Previous faculty experience in an academic setting is preferred. Salary and academic rank are based on qualifications.
The campus recently underwent a $78 million renovation and expansion project including two laboratory research floors and a state-of-the-art Simulation Center that is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
