Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, IT, Business or equivalent experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset along with project management skills
  • Knowledge of business process workflows with the ability to identify gaps and propose efficient improvements
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability work independently and take the initiative
  • A team player with flexibility for working with international teams
  • Proficient technical skills
  • A working knowledge of SAP and applications such as Qlikview, Readsoft, GetPaid and Concur would be advantageous
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large volumes of data
  • Dedicated to exceeding expectations and developing oneself professionally
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

  • Assist with top priority projects related to the implementation and enhancement of systems and applications that are used within the Finance function and which are designed to drive efficiencies through the automation of standard processes
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives focused on a variety of key process improvements that drive efficiencies across the global Finance organization, including project planning, project updates, gathering of information to support initiatives and involvement within larger teams to execute predefined agreed actions
  • Perform analysis to assess and report out on key metrics that measure process effectiveness and that identify areas that can be improved upon
  • Co-ordination of Finance requests for new reports and requests for changes to existing reports that are configured within us a QlikView Reporting Application, ensuring appropriate requirements are defined while assisting with request prioritizations
  • Support the development of Finance master data auditing to ensure integrity of data and work with cross-functional teams on data changes, process or system changes where master data quality results fall below expected levels
  • Support the process team with specific compliance programs and internal controls to ensure they are operating effectively
  • Act as super user in relation to systems and applications utilized by Finance end users
  • Provide support to end users for the systems and applications functional use including trouble-shooting and escalating identified issues for timely resolution
  • Directly support the Finance Process Director and Manager with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
