Release coordinator - role is on the Release Eng Team, but is not a Release Eng. They need a PM/Project Coord background
- A PM on the Release team working administratively to keep release cycles moving
- Needs to understand release cycles, release engineering and would be nice to have some understanding of release engineering technology etc. but NOT a release engineer
- In Benjamin’s words, “someone that would like to be a release engineer but not there yet”
Release Coordinator- CTH, Remote 8-4:30, PST hours,
- 45% release planning
- 40% release mgmt.
- 10% follow process
- 5% coordinate with the team
MUST have background in IT
- PM exp
- Scheduling releases exp
- Scheduling exp
- Outlook/Excel/Word proficiency
PERFECT candidate will have Azure devops exp
MUST be able to push back on developers, stand their ground
Duties:
- Intake user stories and make sure they are built correctly
- Attend weekly CAB meeting which will include what releases are approved or disapproved to go out
- Put everything together for the next 1-2 weeks
- Be quick to answer questions or ask questions
