Job Location – Mc Lean, VA & Plano, TX

Contract to hire 6 months

Need strong Java Development (Spring boot & Micro Services), Web Logic Serves & Unix Environment (Current project – must)

Initial 3 months at Mc Lean, VA – Freddie Mac office (Hybrid – Tuesday, We, Thursday)

After 3months Job Location will be Plano, TX only.

If consultant belongs to Plano, TX, need to travel or relocate to Mc Lean for 3months (Travel exp will covered by Hexa)

Reason for 3 months Mc Lean – All seniors in Mc lean location and they are training / sharing project info.

Position Overview:

The Enterprise Business Technology Office (BTO) enables business operational excellence through the flexible use of technology. The team supports the needs of the enterprise groups, including the chief administrative office, compliance, enterprise risk management, finance, human resources, diversity and outreach, internal audit and legal. In addition to championing and empowering business partners, Enterprise BTO takes steps to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team of talented individuals responsible for providing IT development support across various organizations within the enterprise. Senior developer will help line manager/technical lead in day to day operations, provide application development support and guide/mentor other members of the team.

Your Impact:

•         Developing software solutions by studying organizational needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

•         Follow established methodology and controls guidelines. Maintain agility and quality throughout development process.

•         Documenting Technical Design, Interface Specifications and Unit Testing.

•         Participate in technical discussions and provide recommendations or solutions

•         Demonstrating ownership of problems, issues, or requests from start to finish and facilitating appropriate handoffs

•         Ensuring that “Best Practices” for development activities (e.g. code reviews, unit testing, etc.) are followed through the project life-cycle

Qualifications:

•         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

•         5+ years of experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE technologies, preferably in Unix environment.

•         Minimum 2-3 years of experience in developing/maintaining applications using C/C++ technologies, preferably in Unix environment.

•         Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers, caching, application servers, & load balancers

•         Hands-on experience on multiple technologies such as:

•         Java/J2EE & middleware (WebLogic, Apache, Spring Boot, etc.) technologies in UNIX environment and Scripting languages such as UNIX Shell

•         Build automation / CICD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Artifactory, etc.)

•         Relational databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

•         Information and application security including LDAP, certificates, public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, etc.
