Job Description:
Summary
The ED is a fast-paced environment where a variety of patient types from the worried well to the critically ill and injured are seen. If selected for this position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team included Radiology Services, various inpatient units, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Our EDs typically experience a high volume of patients, especially during fall and winter months with the goal of mitigating acute health concerns and moving patients forward.
Qualifications
Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required
Academic Preparation:
Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
Education: Associate DegreeCompetencies and skills: BLS
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care or trauma nursing experience
