Job Highlights

• This position supports the objectives of the Information Technology department to deliver high-quality and cost-effective information technology services to the business units and group functions of IT.
• This position has the primary responsibility for developing, maintaining, and supporting IT ERP and non-ERP applications and processes among the following integrated Logistics modules of SAP S/4 HANA:
  • Materials Management (MM)
    • Material movements, physical inventories, stock transport orders (STO), inventory adjustments
  • Inventory / Warehouse Management (IM / WM)
    • Some plants / warehouses are using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).  Therefore, EWM experience is a plus; otherwise candidate should be willing to develop in this area
  • SAP PP/QM experience is a plus
• Position is a member of the Plan-to-Make (PTM) Solutions team of the North American IT Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions organization

Key Responsibilities

• Aligns functionally with the global Plan-to-Make Solutions team in Germany
• Partners with counterparts in the other IT regions (APAC, EMEA, India, and LATAM)
• Manages the configuration and operability of  ERP / non-ERP applications
• Executes projects and leads department initiatives as required, adhering to project budgets and global IT standards
• Improves the quality and effectiveness of ERP / non-ERP applications and technology
• Performs systems analysis and design, applications development, applications testing, production implementation, end-user support

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree & 10+ years of relevant business / information technology experience; including 7+ years technical and/or functional experience (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, etc.)
  • Min. 2 yrs hands-on experience with S/4 HANA or Minimum 2 SAP full-lifecycle projects
• Proven knowledge of following end-to-end business processes within SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP):
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Inventory Management / Warehouse Management (IM / WM)
  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) experience is a plus
  • SAP PP / QM experience is a plus
• Understanding of how the following SAP modules are integrated: PP/QM, MM, WM/EWM, TM
• Chemical industry or manufacturing experience
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required
• Verbal and non-verbal communication skills (fluent in business English language)
• Advanced problem resolution skills, with the ability to manage conflicting information
• Teamwork and customer service orientation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
