Qualifications

â?¢

Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management or equivalent demonstrated experience

â?¢

10+ years of Engineering and Construction experience in Solar, Power Generation or large Renewable Energy facilities

â?¢

5+ yearsâ?? experience managing Utility-scale Solar projects

â?¢

Experience managing multiple self-perform work

â?¢

Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with internal and external entities

â?¢

Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Asta Scheduling and BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Google Earth software

â?¢

Experience presenting to Senior Leadership

â?¢

Position requires travel to meet with clients and support projects throughout the Midwest approximately 50% of the time

Responsibilities

â?¢

This position will be responsible for safe work plans, client negotiations, risk management, cost estimation, contract management and execution strategy

â?¢

In addition, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the business side of the project, managing the full P&L, as well as business development

â?¢

Manage Solar project(s) in excess of $30M across various stages of the development lifecycle

â?¢

Lead our EPC partner during budget development and preliminary engineering, while also overseeing the entire final engineering, construction and interconnection phases

â?¢

Ensure seamless coordination between utility company and project key stakeholders â?? owner, developer, Pepper and MV contractor to achieve project COD

â?¢

Identify and share lessons learned from projects to accurately improve overall project quality, schedule, cost and safety

â?¢

Manage pay application approval process in accordance with the contractual terms including review and recommendation of change order approvals

â?¢

Monitor construction quality to ensure that all work is installed in accordance with the plans specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements, contract requirements and good construction practices

â?¢

Develop and present the projects construction budget

â?¢

Identify cost reduction opportunities and track cost performance against budget

â?¢

Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal and external customers, as well as KPI reporting

â?¢

Coordinate the production of weekly/monthly project progress reports and inform senior management on the project status

â?¢

Manage the Project Closure and the Close Out process with the relevant lesson learned

â?¢

Passionately builds the team by attracting, interviewing, assessing, mentoring and retaining Top Performers

Manage the relationship with the main stakeholders (suppliers, contractors, local communities and administrations) to minimize conflicts and risks for the project

Report to the Project Execution Leader/s and Pepper\'s Senior Management about the status and progress of the assigned projects

Lead the project team to achieve the project targets, always starting with Safety, and coordinate/attend the project meetings

â?¢

Coaching and mentoring the assigned resources to promote skill improvement and adequate professional growth

Promote the team working and the communication within the assigned project team
