Job Description:
The HR Application Developer is a position in the Applications team. This team is responsible for the support, enhancement and implementation of Applications using different technologies.
The HR Applications Developer will have ownership of SuccessFactors modules like Employee Central, Onboarding, Recruiting, PMGM, and Compensation and integration between SuccessFactors modules with internal downstream applications and external vendor systems using Boomi(iPaaS), Python and Oracle PL/SQL. This position will be responsible for specific business areas such as HR, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits. There will be interaction with business users to understand issues, gather requirements, coordinate testing, and implement solutions.
Support of the applications would include resolving issues reported by users. Resolution process will include, but not limited to, investigating known bugs on software vendor support website, creating tickets or service requests with software vendor, developing scripts to fix data issues, making program changes, testing fixes, and applying changes to production.
This position will work on development requests and projects. This position will have responsibility for significant software development and support tasks. This will involve scheduling tasks, managing user expectations, meeting project and key initiative deadlines. Development tasks will include, but not limited to, interacting with business users to gather requirements, designing, and developing technical solutions, unit testing programs, user testing, documentation, and implementation.
The position also requires staying abreast with changes in technology, programming languages, and software development tools. Staying up to date on changes and upgrades to SAP SuccessFactors and Boomi will also be required.
Participation in team and / or project meetings, to schedule work and discuss status, will be required. Interaction with others in the Application team or another team will also be required.
Duties
HR Applications Support - 30%
Monitors interfaces and critical programs in production systems for errors, performance, and any other abnormality.
Provides first level support for assigned SAP SuccessFactors modules and related applications.
Troubleshoots and resolves problems reported by users of these modules and applications.
Investigates issues using vendor support website(s).
Creates tickets or service requests with software vendor.
Develops changes to programs to resolve issues.
Works with other team members, DBA team and other teams to resolve issues.
Works with Business Process Owner(s) to test and make changes to HR Application Integrations to resolve issues.

Develops new programs or makes changes to existing programs, according to business requirements.
Develops test scripts and Tests programs according to business requirements.
Does performance tuning of programs and other objects when performance issues are reported?
Works with business users to test programs in Development and Quality
Writes technical documentation.
Works with DBA, System Administration teams to migrate programs to Quality and Production
Works with Business Process Owners to investigate new functionality in Oracle applications.
Works on SuccessFactors release updates
