Position Purpose

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Application Management Services is a critical member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery and adoption of business solutions and integration services used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires expertise in areas of project management, application change management, enterprise release and delivery management, business operations, business processes, application technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across all key business functions.

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Application Management Services reports directly to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications Platforms and Services and must be a strong & visible leader, highly flexible, and results-oriented with the ability to provide insight and support on complex business and technical issues. As a leader and project management specialist, this role is responsible for proactively leading multiple technology initiatives with a critical focus on managing, people, scope, schedules, resources, investments, and risks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields

Experience
  • 15+ years of IT Management, program management, and consulting experience required.
  • 10+ years of combined IT and business transformation experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, and systems administration.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Salesforce.com, or other SaaS applications across complex application environments.
  • Good understanding of Product Release cycles with one or more Cloud (SaaS) products
  • Strong business and technical acumen and understanding of SaaS application solutions.
  • Understanding of complex ERP technical operations with integrated legacy/boundary systems.
  • Strong Program & Project Management capability and experience with complex, multi-team business transformations.
  • Expertise in budget planning and financial management.
Skills
  • Ability to understand problems in multi-technology and multi-application environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with senior management, business, service provider, and SaaS provider.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a future state vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy.
  • Possesses strong leadership, communication, planning, negotiating, and management skills.
  • Ability to create plans for the deployment as per the release schedule.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role.

  • Strong business acumen, including industry, and domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.

Essential Functions

  • Strategy & Planning: Function as a business partner and trusted advisor and serve as a key contributor to the deployment and realization of the company’s strategic business plan.
  • Change & Release Management: Build and provide day-to-day leadership, support, and management over the application management services team (internal and external solution/service providers) in support of the Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, FAW-Analytics, Oracle Integration Cloud, Salesforce.com, Vertex, ADP/Tress, TECSYS WMU, and other SaaS applications are added to scope.
  • Program & Project Leadership: In collaboration with the Transformation Office, function as a business partner and trusted advisor and serve as a key contributor to the deployment and realization of the company’s Strategic Business Plan.
  • Project Delivery: Develop, maintain, and execute methodologies and processes that ensure the most effective delivery of new solutions that meet time, cost, and quality expectations. This includes development methods, estimating techniques, resource utilization processes, project controls and vendor selection, and project management approaches.
  • Leadership & Organizational Strategy: Lead and manage the team of internal and 3rd Party associates.
