· Technical Installation and Configuration
· Install and configure Informatica PowerCenter, Power Exchange, B2B Data Transformation, and Data Quality environments.
· Implement and maintain complex repository configurations, including multiple domain setups with high availability and disaster recovery.
· Advanced Administration and Maintenance
· Conduct detailed performance analysis, capacity planning, and system tuning. Implement changes to improve system reliability and performance.
· Use Informatica command line utilities and administrative consoles to manage the environment, automate routine tasks, and handle deployments.
· Security and Compliance Management
· Configure and enforce security settings and access controls using LDAP integration and Informatica's native capabilities to meet rigorous compliance standards.
· Regularly audit the system and implement security patches and updates in response to vulnerability alerts.
· Performance Optimization.
· Execute detailed ETL performance tuning, including session tuning and optimization of mappings, workflows, and data loads.
· Establish and maintain grid configurations for load balancing and parallel processing.
· Upgrade Management and Technical Testing
· Plan and execute upgrades of Informatica products, ensuring compatibility with existing data warehouse and BI applications.
· Conduct regression testing and performance benchmarks on new software versions to ensure stability before deployment.
· Technical Collaboration and Leadership.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in data integration strategies, advising project teams and stakeholders on best practices in Informatica implementation.
· Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the system architecture, data flows, processes, and service records.
· Project and Change Management.
· Lead technical projects related to the enhancement of data integration capabilities, including cross-functional coordination and end-to-end delivery.
· Manage change control processes for software releases, patches, and changes to production and non-production environments.
Qualifications:-
Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in managing Informatica environments.
Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica SaaS (data integration solution and platform that works Software as a Service (SaaS), Informatica Administration in Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) (Primary), Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)(Secondary), Data Quality, and other Informatica enterprise data management products.
Informatica SaaS - IDMC. Also proficiency in CDI or CDQ
In-depth understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles.
Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and automation
Preferred Skills:
· Certifications such as Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) or similar.
· Experience with additional ETL tools like Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.
· Knowledge of Python or Java for process automation and enhancements.
· Familiarity with cloud data integration strategies and architectures in Azure, or GCP.
