Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To) Logging, assigning, and tracking all new change request in an in-house ticket management system. Work with business users and key Finance members to adequately document the request for Master Data changes, design the solution, and present the solution to the Governance committee for approval. Prepare the Master Data load files and/or manually input the changes directly into SAP. Develop expertise related to the underlying SAP cost flow model and Master Data design and use that expertise to advise business users on appropriate application of this design in satisfying their business requirements. Develop familiarity with electric and gas utility accounting requirements around internal management reporting, external financial reporting and regulatory reporting. Coordinate with members in the Finance and Accounting organization, and build strong working relationships with key SAP Master Data constituents including HR, Supply Chain, IT and Fleet. Provide finance master data expertise to project teams tasked with enhancing the functionality of the SAP deployment. Responsibilities to include drafting, reviewing and approving business Functional Specifications, working with developers to design and build desired functionality, testing of designed functionality and participation in the production cutover activities, including post go-live business support and end user training. Knowledge & Experience Required Bachelors degree. 3+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience. Demonstrated SAP FICO experience is a big plus. Experience in creation and/or maintenance of SAP Master Data is a plus. Experience in Utility accounting and/or FERC accounting is a plus. Familiarity with SAP Business Objects Data Services or similar enterprise tools and concepts is a plus.
