Duties and Responsibilities Work frequently with the software development team and other internal users to address data access needs. Assist with the documentation of the SQL Server environment. Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company databases. Responsible for monitoring the health and security of the databases. Responsible for basic database administration activities including backup and recovery and other procedures for implementing a sound disaster recovery plan. Design, deploy, and troubleshoot SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) packages. Design and maintain reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Use creative problem-solving and analytical skills to develop solutions. Communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate manner. Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Desired Skills and Experience Desired Qualifications Strong T-SQL skills including database scripting 4-8 yearsâ?? experience administering databases in an Enterprise-level environment Assist with documentation of the SQL Server environment. Use creative problem-solving and analytical skills to develop solutions. Understanding of SQL Server Log Shipping and Transactional Replication. Experieince with SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn implentation and maintaining a highly-available database environment. Operational knowledge of Windows Powershell Experience migrating databases from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2012 a plus
