Role: Senior QA Engineer Location: Austin,TX Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for complex, multi-tiered, applications throughout the full lifecycle of the software Writes and maintain QA automation tasks Follows and helps support quality assurance standards Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software Work directly with department managers to understand project concept, objectives and approach of software development tasks Act as a mentor and leader to more junior QA engineers Participate in all aspects of testing, including automation, functional, regression, load and system testing Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers to ensure the software development process has an appropriate level of testing Monitors and reports on issues of production systems Works collaboratively with development during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results Records and reports on testing metrics to QA Manager Participates in daily SCRUM meetings and weekly QA review meeting Manage issues and escalations smoothly. Establish appropriate resolutions as needed. Other duties and projects, as assigned. Required Skills: 3 â?? 5 years of QA experience with increasing responsibility for actionable and measurable goals. 1 â?? 3 yearsâ?? experience developing automation scripts using Selenium. Experience testing .NET Web Applications. Proven ability to handle multiple complex technological time-sensitive projects under competing deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to coach actively listen and define system requirements gathered from non-technical sources. Team-player, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Education/Other Pre-requisites: Bachelorâ??s degree required, preferably in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
