Supply Chain Planning Manager Location:

  • Essex, MDEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Lead and Participate in Weekly/Monthly S&OP activities Lead Weekly/Monthly Demand Review Meetings with Sales and Marketing team to ensure that short and long term Corporate Financial Strategies are being met Participation in Weekly/Monthly in New Product Reviews to ensure the execution of all New Business Development and R&D projects Develop and manage short term and long term Supply Chain strategies and team organization.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with all supporting clients teams; Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, Manufacturing, R&D Develop and track department level KPIs and lead Supply Chain KPI reviews in the Supply Review Weekly/Monthly S&OP meeting. Work with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives and ensure service level agreements are being met Ensure 100% on time in full Customer sales order execution through the planning of production work order schedule, inventory management strategies, and logistics timelines Manage all aspects of the production schedule to assure appropriate inventory levels and integrity are maintained for stock items and that special made-to-order products are produced in a timely and efficient manner Facilitate execution of shift productivity, quality and safety against set goals. Understand yield and quality requirements and make decisions to improve and protect those requirements Ensure facility complies with sanitation and allergen program as well as additional housekeeping rules set forth by the company Responsible for executing all ERP transactions for all Supply Chain areas of responsibility Manage all functions relating to Suppliers, including, but not limited to: supplier quality and delivery performance, supplier relations, timely resolution of problems, and cost competitiveness Ensure cross functional execution of new products or new customer launches Evaluate existing processes and procedures and suggest improvements. Support development and enhancements to warehouse methods Create a team environment among peers and team members.
  • Promote employee moral and motivate through positive communications and proactive problem solving to ensure an efficient, stable and friendly work environment Comply with, understand, and enforce all company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies and mandates.
  • Uphold HACCP, OSHA, FDA, GMP and plant safety guidelines Enforce all federal, state, environmental, and company safety regulations, and ensure training of employees is adequate in order to comply with those Effectively communicate all relevant production information to the appropriate department and staff members Responsible for executing and completing all other duties as assigned Education Bachelor\'s degree in related field along with 5-7 years of Supply Chain Management experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with associate management a plus.
