Job Description:
What this role entails:
- Develop attractive and highly interactive business intelligence solutions (dynamic reports, dashboards, data visualizations, etc) to deliver actionable information to the sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to help assess strategic opportunities and future BI capabilities.Work closely with the back-end database team to define data requirements to support your initiatives.
- Develop crisp documentation, design specifications, training materials, etc.
- Create and support a highly effective web analytics platform.
- Use the latest BI delivery tools build prototypes for business analysis opportunities.
- Work directly with business professionals to develop innovative data presentations and visualization solutions.
- 6+ years of software development experience with a specialty in business intelligence tools and data warehousing technologyProficiency with QlikView /nPrinting, and/or one or more additional major BI Reporting tools such as Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, SSRS, etcProficiency in SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, complex SQL, performance tuning, etc)Strong conceptual, analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Have a collaborative work style with strong desire to work in dynamic, fast paced environment that requires flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with JavaScript/HTML/D3 highly desirable
- Experience with web analytics and/or digital media highly desirable
