- Project Management and ExecutionSeasonal Product/Collection launches:Develop timing and execution plan for seasonal product launches in partnership with Merchandising, Inventory, Creative and IT/Web Dev. Project manage the production schedule across teams.
- Execute creative and promotion updates on the site within the CMS.Site Updates:Execute strategy and tactics related to special online events and promotions within the CMS.
- Project manage, and in some cases, execute regularly occurring improvements and upgrades.
- This includes both tactical updates related to content and campaigns as well as strategic updates around features, functions and flow improvements.
- Project management for internal front-end and outside back-end development teams.
- Site Performance & Real-time OptimizationMonitor daily and weekly site performance to understand how creative updates are performing and report out to eCommerce team.
- Enable and disable creative/custom product features based on product availability and other performance metrics.
- Apply redirects, alternative and canonical tags within the CMS, as needed.eCommerce OperationsAssess, address and project manage regular site issues and resolve or escalate to IT or web development: Oversee all site development initiatives and implementation projects.
- Revalidate capabilities as necessary, and create documentation (features, functionality and processes).
- Manage Internal and Third-Party Integrations:Item, price and inventory integration between internal enterprise Order Management System (CWSerenade) and eCommerce platform (Fry OCP).
- Image integration (Adobe Scene7).Shopping Comparison Engine (SCE) and Marketplace (Amazon, eBay) integration with cross-channel management platform (Channel Advisor).
- Ownership of Website Content Management System (CMS):Become super-user of site management platform and train staff as appropriate for their position.
- Leverage site merchandising capabilities including cross-sells, up-sells, ensemble selling, top sellers, new arrivals and item flow through sales and clearance sections.
- Optimize site search capabilities and maintain merchandised search results pages.
- Implement targeted content (Dynamic) in appropriate areas to create more personalized user experiences.
- Manage testing/development environments for validation of new site features and capabilities.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience with eCommerce.
- 4+ years experience managing a consumer-facing website and online marketing with focus on consumer experience.
- 4+ years managing digital vendors, budgeting, expense management and planning a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy for project execution.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects against aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to operate with a customer-focused approach to business practices.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field required.
- Knowledge and understanding of the roles and limits of web technologies such as HTML.
- Experience with separate desktop and mobile websites as well as responsive websites.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar metrics-measurement platform(s).Understanding of basic UX drivers.
- Familiarity with A/B testing a plus.
- Strong project management skills; experience with web-based PM tools, such as Jira a plus.Positive, collaborative, transparent and a self-starter.
