Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Works directly with internal customers to ensure system needs are met.Recognizes processing/programming inefficiencies, documents problems, recommends solutions, initiates corrective actions and informs internal customers of the solutions.
- Coordinates the analysis, design, testing and implementation of information systems.
- Prepares instructional material for Decision Support analyst(s) as needed.Assists with systems training as needed.
- Works closely with Information Technology to support the Decision Support team with timely and accurate data.Prepares operational procedures for production processes.
- Develops and maintains production reporting, and develops ad-hoc reporting as required.Identifies data elements needed to meet reporting and analytic requirements.
- Coordinates data loads needed to meet analysis and reporting requirements.Works with internal customers to resolve report discrepancies.Develops and maintains processes to efficiently extract and transfer data.
- Automates routine electronic data processes.
- Builds and maintains databases.Assist with performance monitoring and disk space monitoring as needed.
- Assists with the development and documentation of automation scripts.Serves as a business intelligence subject matter expert for the Decision Support team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Core CompetenciesIntermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL server.2008-2014Intermediate knowledge of warehouse development.
- Intermediate knowledge of ETL software.Intermediate knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Intermediate knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Significant initiative and professionalism to deal with confidential issues.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
