Job Description:
- Specific Duties Include The BI Developer position is focused on extracting, organizing and distributing management information by the utilization of programming solutions which include development of meaningful databases and reports to be used by those who develop corporate strategy.
- Working with IT, Actuarial, Underwriting, Marketing and other areas to understand data structures, determine data definitions and evaluate the accuracy of data elements Creating data extractions by utilizing software code Developing databases, spreadsheets and reports for use throughout the enterprise, which include management reports Developing and maintaining the distribution methods which distribute the reports and data The Ideal Candidate For This Role Possesses Bachelors degree in related field 3 - 5 years of pertinent experience (Includes: working with databases, information delivery, building data infrastructures, etc.)
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence tools such as SSIS & Cognos An aptitude for data manipulation and software engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Candidates with less experience and/or education may be considered for a different level commensurate with their qualifications.
