DescriptionGeneral

  • Description Of RoleLead all domestic and international payroll processes for the client and its subsidiaries.
  • Oversee the administration of domestic and international Health & Welfare benefit and retirement savings plans using the Companys HRIS application, ADP Workforce Now.
  • Lead payroll/compensation projects globally, including launching new payrolls in foreign countries.
  • Essential FunctionsProcess and/or approve all domestic and international payroll runs on a weekly/monthly basis, including all hourly and salaried
  • U.S. payrolls, Canada, Japan and Mexico (with further international expansion planned)Lead all payroll tax reporting and period-end processes, including quarter- and year-end close activity and annual
  • W-2 processingServe as payroll technical expert for client, including a deep understanding of
  • U.S. payroll law, tax regulations and accounting principles and a general understanding of global payroll principlesMaintain the Companys
  • ADP Workforce Now Payroll, Compensation & Benefits modules and serve as subject matter expert on
  • ADP benefits and payroll management for both HR and our employeesLead projects to implement payrolls in new countries to support our global expansion
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing of our annual compensation programs (bonus, annual increases and other special payments)
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws for all benefit, compensation and payroll functions within HR, including
  • ERISA and HIPAA, and manage internal SOX compliance efforts in conjunction with the Internal
  • Audit teamLead all external audit processes, including 401(k) and workers compensation, partnering with our external audit vendors Generate continuous improvement ideas for streamlining
  • U.S. and international payroll and benefit processes to HR leadership
Qualifications

  • B.S. in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field5-10 years of experience in
  • U.S. payroll processingDeep knowledge of U.S. payroll law, tax regulations and accounting principles
  • Knowledge and experience in global payroll processing strongly preferredOutstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a strong attention to detail
