Job Description

• A Web/Mobile Applications Engineer to join our Consumer Electronics Division to be involved in the development of web/mobile applications for a consumer networking product.
  

Responsibilities:

• Development of interactive web based applications
  
• Integration with native apps for a variety of platforms
  
• Flexible code development: new code development as well as modifying existing code
  
• Scoping and architecting of specific features

• Effective communication skills at building relationships across organizations in verbal and written form, since you will be responsible for developing and documenting the web/mobile experience to technical teams and stakeholders
  
• Strong team player
  
• Strong analytical and process-oriented problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work without much direction when needed
  
• Experience with Agile development process
  
• JavaScript / AJAX expert
  
• Proficient at HTML, CSS and JS / AJAX
  
• Solid understanding of the DOM
  
• Good understanding of data driven web apps
  
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 (including CSS transitions and effects)
  
• Experience with Web Sockets & Long Polling & XMLRPC / JSON
  
• Knowledge of jQuery, React, React Native and other frameworks
  
• Experience in developing apps & web apps for iPhone or Android
  
• Knowledge and expertise with Objective-C for iOS and/or JAVA for Android
  
• Understanding of cross platform display and performance optimization
  
• Code and process examples of past work required
