Job Description
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A Bachelors degree or higher
- SAP EHS Functional work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one end-to-end implementation
- Experience in SAP EHS Module - EHS Data Structure, Product Safety (Including WWI, EHS Expert Rule Development, Report Shipping, Rule based MSDS authoring, Automatic MSDS generation
- Dangerous Goods Management, Classify Dangerous Goods, Perform checks during packaging and transport, Compile and Update Dangerous Goods Documentation.
- Global Label Management. SAP Substance volume tracking. SAP Environment Compliance, Hazardous Substance Management.
- Experience using 3E/Ariel rules and processes or other rule providers
- Integration experience with other SAP modules like MM, PM, PP, QM, SD and WM modules.
- High degree of focus on customer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills that translates to high level problem solving abilities
- Makes decisions applicable to level of influence in the organization
- Must be flexible, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
- Must have good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, a self-starter

- Willing to travel approximately 30% per year. Including potential extended periods
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interface with Product Safety and Compliance Department.
- Assure plant compliance with all federal, state and local EHS regulations.
- Work with WWI, Generation Variants, Report Generation, Report Shipping, and Report Information System.
- Implementation of rule solutions using Expert and Easy Expert. Experience writing and enhancing rules to streamline customer business processes.
- Good grasp of with rules for GHS compliance.
- Proactively advise on improving / re-engineering business processes in close cooperation with the businesses involved in a project.
- Working with users to define business requirements and converting those requirements into technical specifications.
- Propose the most efficient and effective use of processes and systems.
- Encourage and implement the use of common business solutions, systems, processes and data
- Represent the IS organization with process and technical skills by playing an active role in projects following the standard project methodology.
- Ensure the quality of software changes and additions
- Guide users in creating, testing and implementing procedures
- Understand and solve interfacing needs between the ERP and the legacy systems
- Work as a cross-functional team member across technologies, geographies and IS groups
- Work closely with the project team to design and implement business solutions to reach project objectives and goals.
- Implement coordinated, standard and uniform solutions.
- Educate colleagues at Lubrizol on SAP and related concepts
- Update and maintain documentation regarding the application, its interfaces and data definitions
- Pursue educational opportunities in order to remain current in new and emerging IS technologies
