Job Description:
UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the maintenanceof Methodist Willowbrook Central Supply stores. Is responsible for par level maintenanceof all PAR supply areas.
- Oversees the completion of all night work assignments. Provides employee performance feedback to the Director of Supply Chain Management.
- Demonstrates knowledge of all Material Management functions.
- Demonstrates a functional use of PMM software.
- Demonstrates understanding of basic patient supply needs, par levels and stocking of supplies.
- Responsible for monthly cycle counts and biannual physical inventory of department supplies. Reports inventory results to the Director of Supply Chain Management.
- Demonstrates knowledge of computer operations and purchasing department policies/procedures.
- Distributes supplies from supply receipt area to designated areas. Monitors and participates in inventory and distribution of supplies. Monitors and preserves the integrity of packaging.
- Is familiar with inventory bin locations and can locate and/or direct to any supplies in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates good communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management, clients and co-workers.
- Communicates according to chain of command.
- Demonstrates courtesy, willingness and desire to serve and support user areas.
- Assists management with financial reports.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Related work experience preferred. Prefer inventory management backgroun
- Proficient in desktop computer software, data entry, and product association, problem solving and reconciliation of computer and physical inventory.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods, shipping/receiving, traffic and routing helpful, standards for sterile storage, Preferable experience with PMM Inventory Management, standardization, substitution, packaging, replenishment.
- Effective work habits and communication skills essential.
