JOB SUMMARY:

  • The primary focus of the Regional HRIS Analyst position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team.
  • This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for property-based HRIS personnel, the HR Shared Service Transaction Team, Benefits, Recruiting and Payroll Departments and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, metrics, testing of system changes and report writing.
  • The HRIS Analyst will also be responsible for delivering great customer service within communicated SLAs and work closely with Corporate HR Analytics and Heart of House IT to submit and monitor progress of IT service requests.

Essention Job Functions

Production Support

  • Provide support for HRMS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll).
  • May provide project management support for a given HR initiative.

Reports/Queries

  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

Individual Development

  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
  • Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
  • Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Participate in user group meetings/conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
  • Minimum one to three years of HRIS or IS experience. One to two years of project management experience and systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools.
  • Experience with Access Database, SQL, I-series, query tools, and thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication (verbal and written) project management, problem solving and decision making skills required.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
