Responsibilities:

• Lead development of architectural standards and frameworks for data warehouses considering performance, efficiency, data integrity, scalability and maintainability
  
• Develop expertise in mobile marketing and ? proprietary data sets and lead data engineering and modeling efforts to enable insights using agile SDLC practices
  
• Design and implement high-performance, resilient, secure and scalable dimensional models, data pipelines and reporting interfaces
  
• Provide strong domain-based experience with toolsets and methods to help get the most from current and next-generation data technologies and industry best practices
  
• Perform effort estimation for various data warehouse activities and effectively drive data projects to completion
  
• Develop rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to help assess strategic opportunities and future BI capabilities
  
• Lead the effort to build an efficient multi-tenant self-service BI platform
  

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or masterâ??s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  
• 7+ years relevant experience designing and delivering DW/BI and analytics solutions
  
• Expert level knowledge in designing entire data warehousing/business intelligence architecture end-to-end; including data integration architecture, database schema designs, dimensional data modeling, query performance optimization and reporting/visualization
  
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures with fluency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python
  
• Awareness of continuous integration and automated testing for data warehouse processes
  
• Expert level knowledge in tuning and scaling data management and engineering processes in a high-volume data warehouse environment
  
• Expert level knowledge in ETL frameworks and best practices
  
• Experience in running large-scale data warehouses on big data technologies such as Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL clusters or Snowflake using Pentaho/Talend is a plus
  
• Good communication and documentation skills
  
• Client service attitude with ability to persuade and educate when appropriate
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  
• Ability to adapt to changing environments, tools and technologies
